Shining A New Light on the Arts

More than 44 musicians with the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra join a cast of 10 professional singers and dancers from the United States and Europe in Shining A New Light on the Arts. This original blend of cutting-edge classical & contemporary performing arts takes center stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 29. Shining A New Light on the Arts is produced, conceived and directed in-part by dramatic mezzo-soprano Natalie Bancroft (Theater founder Jackie Spencer's granddaughter). 

The lush program includes: 
• White Swan pas, Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky 
• Song to the moon, Dvorak
• Dvorak, Serenade for Strings, Op.22
• Carmen, aria Habanera, by Bizet and many other classical gems.
